When Koala opened its first retail outlet in the 80’s, we never imagined it would grow into the supermarket that it is today. All we wanted to do back then was make life easier for families who were looking for a good place to buy quality products.
With this vision in mind, we made sure we filled our shelves with only the best products for the families coming to our store. Little by little, more people bought into our vision and spread the word, helping us to grow and serve a larger community.
Koala has grown since then yet we’ve never strayed from our core values: putting families first and giving them products that help them live healthier, happier lives.
As a part of the community, we at Koala believe it’s our duty not to turn to a blind eye to the challenges that surround us, but be part of the solution.
That means donating to charitable organizations, sharing our expertise with small businesses and giving our time and resources to those around us who are less privileged. By giving back, we play our part in building a better society for everyone.
